The polymer gel fire-extinguishing additive is a white powder. These tiny particles exert immense fire-extinguishing power and energy when mixed with water. It features low dosage, simple operation, and high stability at temperatures below 500ºC, without corroding fire-fighting equipment. Therefore, the gel can be prepared prior to use or pre-mixed and stored in water tanks for standby.

As a fire-extinguishing additive, the polymer gel offers high water absorption capacity, long water-retention time, excellent fire resistance, strong adhesion, environmental friendliness, non-toxicity, easy operation, and convenient transportation and storage. It not only locks in large amounts of water but also rapidly cools combustibles. Upon application, it forms a hydrogel coating on the surface of objects to isolate air while inhibiting the diffusion of toxic and harmful gases. The gel coating efficiently absorbs a large amount of heat from combustibles, thereby reducing their surface temperature to control fire spread and achieve rapid, effective fire extinguishment.

Gel-based fire extinguishing is efficient, environmentally friendly, and water-saving. A fire truck equipped with this gel fire-extinguishing agent is equivalent to 20 water-only fire trucks in fire-extinguishing capacity. The tactical principles and methods are basically the same as water-based fire extinguishing. However, when extinguishing Class A fires, its fire resistance effect is more than 6 times that of water; for forest and grassland fires, the fire resistance effect is more than 10 times that of water.

A 0.2%~0.4% concentration of the polymer gel fire-extinguishing additive can form a gel fire-extinguishing agent within 3 minutes. When uniformly sprayed on solid combustibles, it immediately forms a thick gel film on the surface, which isolates air, cools the object surface, and absorbs a large amount of heat-achieving excellent fire resistance and extinguishing effects. It is effective for extinguishing forest, grassland, and urban Class A (solid combustible) fires. The carbon dioxide and water vapor produced by the combustion of the superabsorbent resin are non-combustible and non-toxic.

• Water-Saving: The polymer gel fire-extinguishing additive has a water absorption rate of 400-750 times, significantly improving water utilization efficiency. Less water is required at fire scenes to control fire spread and quickly extinguish fires.
• High Efficiency: When extinguishing Class A, forest, and grassland fires, the hydrogel fire-extinguishing agent has an adhesion capacity more than 5 times that of water, and a fire resistance effect more than 6 times that of water. For forest and grassland fires, the fire resistance effect exceeds 10 times that of water. Adhesion may vary slightly depending on the material of the solid combustible.
• Environmental Friendliness: After fire extinguishment, the residual hydrogel fire-extinguishing agent on-site is non-polluting to the environment and helps retain soil moisture. It can naturally decompose into water and carbon dioxide gas within a certain period without causing pollution to water sources or the environment.
